Description

This may not be everyone's idea of perfect weather but it'd mine! This was yesterday, bitterly cold,blue sky and a sprinkling of snow, nothing disrupted too much in my area but it does encourage walking. Hope you are enjoying your weather... Thanks for kind comments Jeanx

Oh no! Wonderful pic, Jean, but snow? YET? I thing we must live with an early winter, its very cold here, too. Dear Jean, you are living in very nice aera. Snow encourages walking in my case too. Today for example. It was beautiful "journey" through Stromovka to my work.

Snow in this manner is great for inspiring what I call walking meditation, especially if the day is sunny and brisk. I'm in Chicago, currently, and we had days like this...now we're having sub-Siberian temperatures, which is a bit alarming, since they've arrived a couple of months too early. Oh well. This is a marvelous photograph, rich in color and mood and I particularly enjoy seeing both greenery and snow. That gnarly, aged tree, like some type of guardian or guide is quite the marvel to see.
