The morning of 28 november.
No.. it's not "Amsterdam". This is my city Den Haag (in Dutch and Deutsch (German)
("The Hague" in English, "La Haye" in French or "Haag" in Danish and "Haga" in Latin and Swedish).
Royal city (Queen Beatrix of Orange lives here) and Government city of the Netherlands. Most important village of Europe during the time of the Republic (1648-1795). A city since the days of Napoleon (officially since King Willem I of Orange - 1813).
The name "The Hague" is short for "The Hague of the Count" or Den Haag van de Graaf (in "richer" Dutch and on many maps also called 's-Gravenhage (the Counts Hague), where 's is short for "Des" (meaning "of the", where "Den" means "The" in old Dutch - related to the German Die-Der-Das)
enough history.... Just looked outside.. Europe has an early Winter attack.. Lot's of snow in England and here on the other side of the North Sea very, cold (dry) day and nights. The canal is now partly frozen after just a few winter days.. No snow yet.. but icy.. The sun is not yet up, but I am.. and will go out in half an hour I can not stay inside in cold winters.. I love it.

I can'td wait either Mike.. I am already in my winter boots and jacket.. ready for new adventures.. the sky looks ready for snow.. might fall a bit soon

just curious what you do when it's cold and ya have to wait for season 3 with your boat... don't know why, but when you told me you had to get outside cause it's cold, I reminded me of a time when a kid was dared to like a frozen metal pole - His tongue stuck and someone inside the school had to bring water out and pour it on his tongue to get it to release - it's not an old wise tale, you really can't go around licking poles Chris - lol

Great shot. Here in North Germany its cold and snowy. We have 12 cm snow at the moment and it starts to snow again.

Chris, this is a truly wonderful photo and it was nice how you captured the sun peaking throught the trees to start the day. Den Haag appears to be a fantastic city with a very rich history.

I hope you take your camera with you! I think there are many wonderful winter pictures to be taken around Den Haag! This is a magnificent shot. I love the compositon of it. I love how the sun shines through the tree branches .. and how everything lines up so in rows. Truly a delight to look at!
