Description

A special thanks to all the friends with their comments and preferences have led me to be part of the 50 favorite images, and those who chose one of my photos for the gallery of the week, a push to do even better. Foto scattata a poche decine di metri dal paesaggio di ieri ,lungo il fosso a Bozzano. La rete dove appoggia il pettirosso è la recinzione dove vivono tre piccoli asini. Picture taken a few dozen meters from the landscape of the past, along the ditch to Bozzano. The network, which supports the robin, is the fence where three little donkeys. Il pettirosso (Erithacus rubecula, Linnaeus 1758) è un piccolo uccello passeriforme che antecedentemente era classificato come facente parte della famiglia dei Turdidae e ora classificato come parte della famiglia dei Muscicapidae. The robin (Erithacus rubecula, Linnaeus 1758) is a small passerine bird that was classified as being prior to the family of Turdidae and now classified as part of the family Muscicapidae. Appearance Length = 13 - 14 cm Weight = 11 - 22 grams Span = 6.8 to 7.7 cm Average age = 3 - 4 years The robin is a very common small European songbirds. Although small size is known for his brash behavior. It's looking plump and no neck. Adults have the chest and the front colored orange. The rest of the plumage is brown oil. For young people lack the orange color and are heavily speckled. The behavior is confident with men and lively attitude known. Often when working in the garden and the earth turns around the robin is very close to humans to search for worms and insects come to light. It is present in Italy throughout the year, insectivorous, migratory short-range land during the winter. Habitat The pine forests are its natural habitat, but is often also found in gardens, hedges, woods, forests with undergrowth. It nests in holes or in crevices of trees at the foot of the hedges, nell'edera or items left in the old man (eg cylinder). The nest is shaped like a cup perfectly round. http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erithacus_rubecula Good day and good week Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image.
