Description

Our relocation to Florida included a day in St. Augustine, Florida – located in the NE section of Florida. Founded in 1565 by Spanish explorer and admiral, Don Pedro Menéndez de Avilés, it is the oldest continuously occupied European established city and port in the continental United States. It is a city of about 15,000 people. This is the grand staircase to the Casa Monica Hotel, in the historic section of St. Augustine, Florida. I have started to catch up on commenting – it will take me a few days in between unpacking. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

A grand staircase for sure! I lived in Florida for a little over a year and being from New England it just seemed strange to see wreaths, Christmas trees and lights along with palm trees and tropical flowers, LOL.
