This is a fractal? WOW. I'm impressed. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought this was an abstract image of a lantern... now I'm just appreciating it for what it is: really interesting, well executed shapes. Thanks for posting.

This is an amazing image. It reminds me of being underground in a cave looking for a way out, and I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm glad I wasn't really lost down there because it looks too spooky to suit me.
