Hello everyone,
my name is Maxime van den Berg. I was born on 28 October 1992 in The Hague, Holland, where I still live. I just passed my pre-university education (vwo) and next schoolyear (2011-2012) I'll start with Psychology at the University of Leiden.
My first camera was a very simple analoge one, I don't even remember the brand. It didn't had anything except a flash. A few years ago I bought my current camera, a Fujifilm Finepix S1500 (digital). I'm still very happy with it and I keep exploring new things with the help of my father and friends here on RR. Thanks!
My favorite subjects are animals and nature. I hate insects, especially spiders, so I avoid pictures of those. :)
My photography-dream for the (near) future is to get a SLR. Unfortunately those are quite expensive and I don't have enough money yet. Until then, I'll keep practising with my digital camera and get better.
Please be critical on my pictures, I like to learn.
Keep shooting!

How about applying a mask around the candles.. to soften the background? If you have a program that you can do that with if not there are some free ones you can try such as http://www.picnik.com/home or one I use a lot if called eezPix. And I love candles a home can not have too many candles in my opinion.

Nou ik denk dat ik het wel weet maar het hangt van je camera af of je het kunt toepassen.
