Description

Over in the PC forum at DAZ we're doing a render challenge this month where we're supposed to use older figures. I do use V2 and M2 in my images, but mostly as background filler. Using them as the main focus of the scene was a lot more challenging. The two M2's are morphed and textured with GhostofMacbeth's Orc Character for Michael (DAZ). Aside from changing from "plastic" to "skin" and increasing the bump substantially I didn't do anything else to tinker with the character. The outfit is the Beastmaster's outfit with one of the add-on textures for it. The old hag is the Dragonessa character from RDNA. I did a bit more work on her. I took the main skin texture into PS and made a specularity map by desaturating the texture, darkening it and increasing the contrast. I plugged this into the specularity channel in DS as well as the bump channel in order to get the skin to look a bit more interesting. The staff is from DNA Fit For A Queen - V2 Clothing and Props Pack (RDNA). The outfit is also from RDNA, but it doesn't look like it's in the store any longer. Perhaps it will make a reappearance at some point in their Zero Priced Items category. I did use some modern items in the image as well. Both of the hair pieces on orcs are by Ali. Hr-29 and Hr-27 (mankahoo.com). The building is the Temple of D'agroth by Orestes (DAZ). Lighting was done with ForbiddenWhispers' D.I.Y. DAZ Studio Lights (DAZ).

Very well done. I like the color pallet you used with this image and the composition of your characters. I never would have guessed those were M2.

Nice work! The composition is very well done with the levels of the 3 characters, and I think that the M2 holds up well here. Love the dynamic feel of your hands.. hands are so expressive in this one.

Expressive characters! The middle figure is getting a bit lost in the background, maybe a subtle side/shoulder light?
