Description

On Renderosity, there are many people who love cats.. dedicated to them is this picture of a cat hated by other people because "harbinger" of doom! In ancient Egypt, the black cat was considered to be the bearer of luck. The families who owned a black cat got sick less than those who do not have one, also were able to catch mice, rats, scorpions and snakes. The black cat had religious significance, in fact, was associated with the cult of Isis, the goddess who had his own kingdom in the night. But then, why was this superstition born? In the Middle Ages, they were considered evil companions of witches for the black colour which by their habit of going out at night: that those who had one was condemned to the stake, in addition the black cat was barely visible in the dark because of the colour and so did runaway the horses, hurling the riders violently to the ground. Have a great weekend! :) Thanks for looking and for previous comments and fav!
