Great story Jocko! And a great capture of a "fairy house" :) I think Lord of the Rings had elves, but not faeries.
Faemike55
Very good capture, Jocko and some interesting questions you've brought up. The Elves and Dwarves are part of the fae family, just like the sprites, faeries and pixes. I've no idea why they were not included. Last report from Queen Zlata is that all fae are present and accounted for. Thanks for asking, Jocko and Zlata says Hi. She loves the shot of the Fae house

Nope .. don't think the Ring Trilogy had fairies in it. There were elves though. Probably the big difference between elves and fairies .. at least to us humans is that elves don't have wings. Of course, it you are into the magical mystical realms, then you would list many more differences. But most people only care about who has wings and who doesn't, LOL. I wouldn't eat a mushroom I picked. I even bought a book on mushrooms, and I still can't tell a poisonous one from an edible one, LOL!! It looks so easy in the book .. but when you are looking at the real thing .. and the picture in the book of the edible one and the toxic one .. nope. I'll just go to the store and buy my mushrooms! Love the shroom pics .. you really got them nicely.

feaies have wings and elfs do not... wonder about Angles then. Some have wings and some do not... of couse there is a differ in the beings that have wings and even the ones that have a set of four wings. And the ones that do not have wings and is guarding you. I believe in Angels over faries. just a answer to the comments above.

lot to say of the world of real and imaginary world. i not saying that the imaginary world to go and just the real world be here. RR Token was a big time christian but he wrote the lord of the rings. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a fantasy novel for children by C. S. Lewis. C. S. Lewis is a christian too. so fantasy is wonderful. Angels and demon is real so they be in the real world

reminds me one of the jokes where the old lady is standing before the judges and the judge asks: how come that 2 of your husbands died due to mushroom poisening ,but the 3rd husband died of a broken skull. well sir your honor.he did not wanted to eat the mushrooms muahahahaha. yep ute was great on the mushrooms never had a problem with eating what she choose. **sometimes we only found one mushroom on our walk (the one in my pants muahahahahah)

a great philosophical debate that you start there my friend! JRR Tolkien ... not wanted to write the story of a civilization in which clashed directly minds belonging either to the camp of good or evil .. he managed the feat of giving power to trees and aquatic plants. .. I like how you've integrated the interests of some of your friends in your story! Bravo Jocko, bel exploit !

A smile for a great title. There is always a plausible explanation for a photograph as my friend ... Good story ((5 + +)) Un sourire pour un titre génial . Il y a toujours une explication plausible à un cliché comme mon ami ... Bonne narration ((5++))

Looks like a Smooth Lepiota mushroom. It says in the book "edible with caution" but I wouldn't try it! I'll stick to the store bought ones. :) Excellent find and capture!
