This is super. WOW! It's not even my birthday and I'm thrilled, and I laughed when I learned that a part of this is inside of your coffee pot! WOW! I love it when art comes from such unlikely sources. I should look at coffee pots more carefully from now on. I love the colors. They are cool colors, but they don't seem cold. Violet/Purple is always so rich and it's my favorite color too, so that's a good thing. There is a lot to look at in this image, a lot to feel and it's fantastic! Well done! It is a perfect dedication also...art for an artist, it doesn't get any better than that!

great reaction from chip---he doesn't know you yet the way some of us do! You make art from a million sources! The inside of a coffee pot? A mere 'afterthought' for helle! One of your wonderfully complex mixtures of many different sources which you magically put into this big teeming design, and it all becomes whole in the end. Don't know how you do that, but you do. And it's lush & rich & beautiful for Ana, who's lush & rich & beautiful for us. Wonderful gift for ana, filled with royal purples, beautiful fractal work (which seems to morph into Ana's name--and Ana, after all, does do beautiful apo work herself!), and all beautifully framed into a whole.
