Description

The location is almost the same as yesterday, but they are mounted on the side of the ditch Bara to get a better view of the landscape. In this photo you can see, very close, the Romanesque church of Pieve a Elici (San Pantaleone) and Montigiano (Saint Lucia). Are very close as the crow flies, but to go from one to another should fall from Pieve a helix to the road in Freddana to mount then to Montigiano, where AARR than the view from behind. Behind the group of houses that you see, there 'the valley that separates the two chiese.Molti years ago the church of Pieve a Elici was the only church allowed to celebrfare Baptism for a very wide area. Baptism was celebrated with a dive into a large tub, a custom abandoned over time: Now the tank was removed and put outside where it is still visible behind the church. http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pieve_di_San_Pantaleone_a_Elici http://www.luccaterre.it/scheda.php?id=3751&lang=it Naturalmente questo paesaggio non è così vicino . Of course, this landscape is not so close. Photos taken with Canon 70-300 at full extension. We are close to Migliarino Pisano. Good day and good week Thanks for the comments and the favourites of previous image.

Fantastica foto! :)
