Description

Please read the poem, we should all remember we are mortal this time of year because we get caught up in the holiday doing & are not as careful as we should be. We need to be more careful because other people may act carelessly. I wrote this poem right after a family member was struck by an eighteen wheeler while she was driving on the morning of Feb. 11th, 2008. For about 6 weeks we didn't know if she would ever come out of a coma. She did & after seven months went home. She has injuries she will never get completly well from. That day changed many lives in just that moment. One Moment In Time Just one moment in time Can change your life as you know it. In a brief second something happens That causes your existence to split. When you get up on that morning Everything seems to be just routine. Then as the day goes by it happens, Something you had never foreseen. Now you are no longer the same. This has changed you in some way. Those around you may also be altered By this very unexpected dismay. Now you must pick up the pieces Because your life must go on. Your family and friends will be there Making sure you are never alone. You can also go to God in prayer, Knowing that He will always be there. His touch can heal your troubled soul, While letting you know He really cares. You need to live every moment of life As if it could be your very last. Because in this ever changing world Thing in our lives can be altered so fast. Copyright @ M. Doris Fuller Poser, dress & jewelry is from Brylie_Elegantly Yours Bundle by WildDesigns. Wonderful image and a great poem. We do tend to take each day for granted. I have a nephew who is paralyzed for life because of one second of poor judgement. Myself, because of my disease I look at each day as a blessing. Thank you for sharing this with us !!
