Description

MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are always welcome and appreciated. Since MB3D has become so popular many people were wondering where so many bulbs come from. We now have definite proof of how they reproduce. This image is a highspeed snapshot of a bulb just as it is releasing its load of seeds. These seeds will drift away like dandelion seeds, until they land on a fertile spot and in an amazing short time they will grow into a full grown bulb, ready to start sending out seeds of their own. They look a bit like pumpkin seeds so i tried eating one. it tasted kind of bitter and not at all good. If I end up with a bulb growing in my GI system that could become a concern. Have a wonderful Wednesday! Jim Yesterday's image: thumb_2143328.jpg

This is an amazing Mandelbulb, Jim. And a stunning story you're telling us. Great theory! Hoping you don't get an explosion of MB3d in your stomach :D. Looking forward for to morrow, if you're still there!!!

Hah! They spawn! I don't know whether or not you are/were a Star Trek fan Jim, but if you type "The Trouble With Tribbles" into Google Images you will be immediately come face-to-face with the dilema of your theme. Tribbles were cute, but bulbs are downright irresistible! This is a great macro of a bulb star region and the floating "seeds" provide a real 3D effect that adds depth and substance. The whimsical story is perfect. Nice work my friend!

You were very brave to sample one of the seeds and by the look of it they multiply very quickly so I hope you will be OK. A wonderful fractal with super depth to it.

This is really wonderful! Love the humor too. Do you always put foreign objects in your mouth to see how they taste? We humans start that young... LOL
