Good picture as is most of your work. I hesitate to say this because although its what I think, the real test is not honesty but will it lead to a positive outcome. Well I hope so. You have adopted a house style of gloomy lighting for the majority of your pictures. Now you clearly feel comfortable with that lighting level and you also get favourable comments particularly for your lighting, so not suggesting you give this up, but you might want to consider a different lighting style too. How about a lighting range going all the way from shadow to bright highlights buy where the majority of the picture is comfortably lit. I feel your pictures would do better with a greater range of contrast and allow you to play with colours better.

i like all your works ian but i would go and consider roboman28's advice.he seems to know what he is talking about and gives the advice here with respect for you. maybe we sometimes should critizice or advice our fellow friends in a nice way of course and with the due respect,but then this is a sensible path.people might be offended even. but it wont help to comment a maybe "not so good" image and say brilliant or excellent or crap like that. hard to say as i said its a sensible task. i most like the texture on the gal here.looks like the skin is slightly cracked.or veins coming out.
