Did not quite understand what a hole in the ground, had to do with being on the roof. You will have to clear that up... Huggs...Silkylady..

RE:silklady questions: But I do think most is clear RE;plumbing problems :: You call a plumber right? he can go up on your roof: pass a snake ...city is not allowed read below ___ usually you get a plumber to put a snake down from your roof the city cannot go up on your roof they are not allowed so when you have a problem with sewage back up and you need to see if it's a city problem ,not yours if you don't have what they call a clean out pipe above ground where they can put a snake down from your lawn area (not the roof)) you have to dig to find the buried underground pipe and create a clean out adding and cutting into or removing old pipe is involved: which we are so lucky to have my son as it can run a pretty penny I think the men in RR will get it lol:: I dislike typing long stories: so I shorten it some sorry take care hope all is well;☺☺

for a number of years my former neighbors house had the sewer pipe full of cement right at the city main.well, all those years his sewer was going under the street.luckily for me, the ground is mostly clay and it was washed away down to the creek.very hard to get the ground to absorb much water .the top layer of dirt is at the most 1 foot deep good luck on getting it fixed and if you can afford the air ticket come on over to Dallas for a shower

So you have snakes on your roof and are looking for somewhere to bury them? Or was it that you needed to clean out your shower for the plumbers? And why would the plumbers want to take a shower at your place anyway? Don't they have their own showers? Or are you keeping the snakes you caught on the roof in your shower? And lastly.. you found a 6-7 foot shovel inside the hole? Who buried the shovel and what did they use to bury it with.. their hands? Ok.. jus kidding Evie.. I know what you're trying to communicate..lol. Glad you got off easy on the costs.. Hugs Dave :^)

Those snakes, they didn't leave on a plane did they? Sorry, some pop culture humour at your expense. Glad the plumbing problems did not cost you much except some digging. I know what kind of time, cost and smell that sort of cleaning can be like. So good for you. Merry Christmas!

I'm also glad the plumbing issue didn't cost you much, except for...well...shovel use. I love this picture, the humor is perfect. I thought, when I saw this, about archaeologists digging and getting really excited because they were digging so long and found... ...dirt! It takes so little to make me laugh. This is a great shot and commentary, and I especially like the sense of humor you put into it.
