Some of my favorite books are the "Star Wars: Extended Universe" books. Several of these focus around the relationship between Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade. For those unfamiliar, Mara Jade is a former Imperial Agent, who served as the right hand of Emperor Palpatine. A Dark Jedi Apprentice who was called "The Emporer's Hand", she functioned as Palpatine's formost intelligence asset and even as an assassin. To her, Emperor Palaptine was almost a father figure. He was her teacher, mentor, confessor, guide, and the only man she trusted. After the events in Return of the Jedi, she insinuated herself into the organization of a smuggler called Talon Carrde and used the resources of her new employer to begin a quest to find and exact her personal vengeance against Luke Skywalker. In the end, she fell in love with and married him. This image reflects Mara Jade prior to the death of Palpatine, still functioning as the Emperor's top intelligence agent. Though she never achieved the full rank of Jedi or Sith, she was a "force" (sorry, couldn't help it) to be reckoned with. It was rumored that Palpatine was the only person able to control her. Mara's costume is a mix of several outfits (Ryder for V4, Adventure Women, Black Poison, Dark Raven, Novarien's Holy), with modified textures. Skin Texture from Assassin/Angel bundle. I looked at it and thought to myself..."Brilliant! Now there's a character I would like to use. Why didn't I think of that? and several other self directed admonishments."
