as always, Mary, you've captured the subtle impossible-to-name hues of the desert; and you've captured its softness as well as its harshness. The pinks of the sunset are like paintings in the distance, giving this exquisite desolation a real burst of color. I really like the road on the left...it leads somewhere but we don't know where...and the rest is a simple expanse, desolate & gentle at the same time. Another gentle beauty from this wholly outstanding series. More wonderful work.
