Description

My favorite terrain displacement set up depicts an imaginary place somewhere near the Red Rock country of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Balloon Fiesta is quite an event to see once each year. Check it out at: http://www.balloonfiesta.com/ . Thanks to Thelby for creating the balloon model; and, Walli for the pines and dry shrubs models. The vegetation colors were modified in Photoshop to better suit the lighting and terrain. Enjoy... Bob

This is absolutely stunning Bob, can't get more real than this!!! Swear it was real if I didn't know it was a Terragen render. The textures of the cliffs, shrubs, balloon and lighting are perfect. Well done!!!

Nice balloon, Bob! And I certainly like the randomness of the rock formation.

WOW! A lot of great elements here Bob!Love the ballon theme- the depth perspective which is highlighted even more by the light angle & the rocky terraintexture is spot on! A ride in a hot air balloon is on my bucket list!:)
