Description
Captured this image earlier this morning. One of my agapanthus blooms is hanging over the pool and I thought the contrast in colors were quite neat.
I am not working this weekend because I had to hand in my work laptop yesterday and I'm getting a brand new one on Monday. I really cannot afford not to work, but I must admit, I am enjoying the time for myself!

Lovely shot Carin. And what is the "can't afford to not work" bit. I hope it's not what I think. If you had a heart attack from overwork would that company go on without you ?. I'm sure they would find two people to replace you and go on. It's something worth thinking about because I learnt loyalty to a company is ok but doing the work of two people isn't. You have only one life to give and many companies will use it up and spit you out if they can and then just find some more bunnies to replace you. We are here for a good time not a long time so don't lose sight of whats real :).

I love asparagus, which has NOTHING to do with these beauties, and I've never seen these blossoms before, either; but I actually recognized that two different blossoms vied for space in my brain and I'd originally written this comment in reference to asparagus blossoms. Don't ask how asparagus can blossom and stand tall enough to utilize your pool as a backdrop. Funny how that works. But anyway WOW! WOW! This rocks. I love the pin-sharp details and the sense of color. Purple is my favorite color, which is probably not surprising, given my whole Leo-like nature, according to those who are into that zodiac stuff. I really like the delicate, fluted shapes of these blossoms and the background of the pool...everything works so perfectly here. Really well done! I love this! Do they have a scent? And now that I've got asparagus on the brain, I should probably go shopping for some tomorrow.
