Description

Tattoos for me are symbols that act as reminders for bettering ourselves on our path. The artist name is Kimihiko Fujisaka, he was the lead art designer for a japanese game called Drakengard. It's about two opposing factions, the union and the empire who wage war for control of a goddess who holds the harmony of the world and maintains the seals that protect and unite us. When the seals are broken the seeds of resurrection are sown upon the earth which will bring about salvation for all mankind. It's a great example of art imitating life. Each of the main characters merge their souls with mythical creatures creating a soul pact and as a result sacrifice a part of themselves for the greater good. They are symbols of sacrifice, strength, and unity. Mainly image of dragons, keys, spirals, and eyes. Dragons represent strength, eyes-illumination and wisdom, and keys for expanding consciousness. There's also the sanskrit mantra Om mani Padme Om, which means that by the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a buddha. (Dalai Lama's words)
