Description
A further continuation of the visual description of my fantasy world focussing on the participants and their differing points of view of the Nightwars they found themselves a part of.
The background text for this image was a bit too long for here, so for those that are interested in reading the next part of the stories of some of the characters, they can be found at ->

Stunning job of showing the aftermath of a battle. It certainly doesn't look like the humans made out very good at all....

Yes, I remember the pre-battle. Another great composition with lots of details to scan. Given the number of characters I would hope you rendered in stages. Looks like quite a load of data. The only thing that seems a little "off" is the lighting. It feels like you've got dueling sources; the strong sun beaming through the clouds and something equally as strong coming over the left shoulder of the camera. If this was all one lighting environment inside Vue and this is just how the rays traced then who am I to argue. It could be one of those moments in Nature when the lighting feels "off" like when its raining and the sun is shining at the same time. In any case, it is good to see all the foreground details. You wouldn't want to hide that guy straining to pull the arrow out of the shield. Very nice illustration quality.

An amazing amount of non repetative detail here; one can stare for several minutes and find new things. It must have taken an incredible long time to set this up. Did you use a multiple scene render and assembly technique like you used to in Bryce?

A captivating scene and the story on your web site is beautifully written. You have a way of creating epics, both visually and with words that draws on in to your world.
