Adam Long raised his wand.
"Forgive me," he cried.
With a flick of his wrist, the Maid of the Mist VI rocked violently and burst into flame. An enormous fireball rose into the afternoon sky.
On the deck of the little tour boat, the sound of laughter gave way to screams of agony.
