Description
I took this pic today on Dartmoor, Devon.UK we were sheltering behind the rocks on the left, because the wind was so cold, we set off at 8.30am,by 10 am we were so cold we nearly gave up,but after a bit more climbing we got warmed up, so carried on with our walk,

Certainly not much shelter up there, but I see why you'd carry on.I love walking in sun,cloud,heat or cold, you can dress appropriately.I just hate the rain, you can wear waterproofs but just get sweaty...yuk!.That rock you sheltered behind looks like an Easter Island head....you sure you didn't take a wrong turn somewhere??

Cheerful bleakness. The sky, cirrus and haze look chilling. Water vapor is heavier in the cold. Light often feels warm on such a day. I used to live in Minnesota. They just had a record blizzard, almost 2 feet of snow, winds and drifts. Cold walks are always invigorating for me. Livelier steps get you there and back faster. Nice capture of this POV!
