Sorry no picture!BIOHello! My name is Tunde King (and yes this is a girl name) I am living in Australia, on a Central coast between ocean and lake.
I use a canon 400d dslr with many lenses and filters, when editing cs3 is my choice.
I love to take picture of everything but my favorite subject(s) is food photography and still life. On holidays I do capture nature's beauty and I am not shy make abstarct pictures either.
I have no study of any kind in photography. Magazines and book and a very helpful photography forums lend a hand to be better and understanding taking a photograph.

rules are to be violated, and especially in artistic environments, wonderful photo! With strong lines who leads to that marvelous sky! RS

nice show of everything.. I can understand the critique of the master and your own wish.. cropping is the solution of course.. (and you know it) and use a (little) mirror in front of the cam to reflect the sky in.. I would have cut the sky away.. When you scroll the photo a bit down, you can see why.. The emphasis is much more on the stairs.. and it makes the photo even more beautiful.. but i think your master will survive this once in a life time moment-capture good work..

This is excellent - sometimes you have to break the rules to create the best image. Well done.

Stellar composition, even with the horizon in the exact center of the photo, Tunde! Every so often it's good to go against accepted photographic philosophy, master or not. In any case, those clouds are a distinct winner, and I love the depth, color and perspective of the whole image!

It would not have the wind sheered clouds, the pounding surf as well the pounded rock ledge. Nor would one have the overall perspective without the path to all this heavenly beauty. Besides having never paid much attention to the rules, "I say give me that horizon".

Gorgeous landscape Tunde

Gorgeous image! I avoid center horizons like the plague too, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. The result is beautiful!

amazing work love I think you would have lost the imapct of the image had the top been cropped good call on not cropping. it's good to know the rules but as an artist ypu should know why and when to not to folow them and in theis case I agree completely with your choice.

Rules are guidlines for when you have no better sense. You had better sense here...this is wonderful. Especially so because the way the rectangular boards compliment the rectangular rock slabs, compliment the rectangular clouds!
