This was a difficult card to compose and render. It fought me every step of the way with both technical and artistic challenges. Possibly because, despite it's usefulness in life, it is probably my least favorite card... Round 3, Entry 4 Death, Legacy of the Divine Tarot: Through the gates of hell a dark rider can be seen rearing ominously bringing with him an inexorable force that will forever transform you. Dawn breaks, the white rose blooms from the decay and death of what was left behind. The spider and scorpion, both symbols of death, frame a skull which is in turn framed by the symbol of Pluto, lord of the underworld.
