Description

25-year-old Marine Sgt. Derek Wyatt was KIA by sniper fire 12/06/2010 while on foot patrol in Afghanistan. Wyatt's wife learned the devastating news just one day before she gave birth to her baby boy Micheal. I pray that on the Road to Valhalla, he had the chance to hold and tell his only son how much he will love him and miss him ... but always be watching over him ...

My thoughts and prayers are with the Wyatt Family. Thank you sadly for this image, but most do not understand the commitment each service person , male /female put forth each day and those that are effected when tragedy such as this happens. Former marine myself of ten +Plus years I understand this commitment. While most enjoy working a 8 hour day, Servicemen and woman put in 12 too 14 hour days and sometimes longer. Thank you again for this image and know the Wyatt family will be in our prayers.
