Description
Rotterdam is famous of it´s modern architecture. In the background, yellow blocks are visible.. in which people actually live, can you imagine... ?
The Oude Haven BTW is one of the oldest places in Rotterdam.. As Efron already pointed out, the Oude Haven was heavily damaged by warfare.

It is one of the oldest places because of the second World War. Rotterdam has been bombarded several times during the war by all warring-parties. Oude haven was almost destroyed when they constructed the metro (1970's) On this photo the old buildings are not visual. They are build after the metro was contstructed. But there is a small row of 18th and 19th century houses too.
