Description

ORCA 911 Getting a tad tired tweaking English down to Twitter size? A bit bored with that tiny tyrant in your purse or pocket texting: “Don’t forget the cottage cheese and onions Hon”. Pained filing down your fingertips to get a SMART PHONE vision of mundane minutiae? Oh where’s the ecstasy in this age of gadgets and gizmos reducing humans to electronic slaves that serve the petty and the picayune? Want a change of scene? Come visit doarte’s MADHOUSE MIDWAY’S SEADOME. We offer comfortable capsules, easy chairs and 3d flatbed TV’s to take you on the trip Captain Nemo and his aquanauts took. Only this time … IT IS FOR REAL! With doarte’s “diacoustical” devices you can dialogue with dolphins, joke with jolly octopi, learn Viagra Treats from humpback whales or take the tuna trail to lay an egg. We do confess, we’ve had communication problems with some shellfish. They just clam up. (OUCH!) Our optics of course are accompanied by virtual visuals of the abyss ... that wonderful world of marine existence not seen before by human eyes. doarte Thank you for viewing and commenting. I truly appreciate them. Have a wonderful Holiday Season. credits: Forbidden Realms Daz Mystikoi Daz ApteromataFinery Flight Daz Heirophant Daz HMS Sword RMP

I'm not a Twittering My Book of Space Faces type of guy nor will I ever buy a Cell Phone but I'd definitely buy a Ticket for this Adventure. Splendid work as usual Doc, even though there seems there is work to be done yet on loosening the tongues of those Bivalves. Peace

doarte Sir, you are comical. It is a wild story you tell about the lives many are living with this 21st Century technology. But I am thinking it is not in the least boring. At anyrate to the Madhouse I want to come and enjoy the beautiful water objects. It is a stunning image, so wonderfully creative. Love the phones!! Magnificent as usual!!!! Love it!

I'll tell you straight out, Bats don't twit, tweak or tango with tiny techno-terrors! If we found one tittering in our pocketses, we'd drop it from ten thousands into the turpidity of silence! Did you just say viagra and humpback whale in the same sentence???

This is beyond brilliant, and I'm already on the phone to the MADHOUSE to book passage to the new SEADOME!!! Can't wait for a chance to get away, and to interact with the sea life :)

Fantastic scene and melding of the elements. The only problem I see is that the aquatic animals would be much too intelligent to bother conversing with us mere humans.

Wayne, your posts are a real treat for the eyes in so many ways! Your art is fantastic, of course, and your prose never fails to bring a grin - just delightful! i'll even forgive the 'clam up' pun! Hehehe.. I'm online getting my tickes - I'm all over this idea for a great vacation. Of course, I'll be waiting for my tny pocket tyrant to beep me with a confirmation! LOL! Completely and utterly a fave for me!

well, i am probably one of the last hold outs when it comes to all those gadgets...i don't even have a cell phone, let alone do i twitter. the last thing i want is to be available at all times to the outside world. though, i must admit i would thoroughly enjoy a visit to your seadome with its diacoustical devices :). wonderful job on this super, highly imaginative scene! like how you've incorporated those wings with the mermaid...
