Description

We had a hit-and-run snowstorm yesterday. We got 2-3 inches of snow in about 3 hours. And after all the snow had been washed away by rain over the weekend. (Can you guess I don't like snow? OK, it's very pretty when it first falls and looks fine from inside the house, with a steaming mug of hot chocolate in my hands. Unfortunately, you have to go out into it eventually.) This shot was taken as the snow clouds move off to the south. You can see them in the left-hand side of the picture. This shot was taken from a moving car, and I thought it turned out well, considering.

Beautiful capture of the Sun/Snow. We had our first snow fall of the year on Mauna Kea. Its good to be in the snow for a day or two....but I'm glad I walk the warmer grounds after. Aloha

The sun and clouds and reflection are beautiful. I'm with you, I love snow as long as I'm inside and don't have to go out in it. We get very little snow where I live so it is a treat to see it.
