Description

MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are always welcome. Last night i rendered a fairly simple MB3D image. It was a nice image but certainly nothing special about it. I took it to Photoshop and tried a few different filters to see what might be more interesting. I turned it into a negative of itself. To be honest i find the negative makes a far more interesting image. The bottom blue one is the exact same image as the top one, just turned into a negative, I would appreciate feedback from viewers on this experiment. Its Friday at last! Have a great weekend. Nice MB work, what I like to do with negatives is use them as layers blended with the original using different Modes (overlay, saturation, luminosity etc) can get some wild effects that way too. On a couple old 2d Manips I did enlarged the original by 50 per side for a BG, then took the original, Inverted it (Neg) and layered over the bigger BG, merged the layers and did a Neg of the whole thing, wild shadowy effect. Peace

The first fractal is fanatastic. The splash effect is beautiful, and the colors are gorgeous. I vote for the second one though. The iceberg image is quite unique and brings a new and interesting view. Your experiment work is awesome. I am always looking forward to your fractals. Keep them coming Jim. Have a good weekend.

Yes, Jim, Len is exactly right. If you now overlay the two images and experiment with blending modes and different hues and colors for each layer you will be amazed. That aside, I like the image in both presented modes. It has great potential. And as always, I am both intrigued and delighted by your thought processes; I sincerely hope you continue to share them.
