Description

Taken several weeks ago in the forest nearby. Over night 20 cm of snow has fallen. When we woke up this morning everything was a wonder winterland, it was beautiful. The world's much prettier when it's white! It kept snowing for the entire morning, but unfortunately temperature's rose around 12 oclock and a lot of snow has already melted. Well, at least we got to enjoy it for a while... :)

Beautiful shaped tree. It would indeed be very pretty with snow on it. The snow seems to stay much better 30 km east...

Grin.. I must have walked past this tree many times... when young But if you had not told me it was in Ockenburg I would not have known My parents are there now.. nearby.. for ever and ever.. Super photo.. They are going to restore Ockenburg in the coming years.. to it's old glorie Hopefully they do not bring down all the giants.. even if they stand were historic roads once were..
