Description
No one knows for sure where they came from but migrated to the Middle East during the 1200 a. C. Plying the eastern Mediterranean coast and attacked Egypt during the XIX dynasty and especially in the reign of Ramses III, of the Twentieth Dynasty. Egyptian chronicles speak of the "Peleset" the Philistines of Scripture, also cite the "Shardana" that colonized Sardinia. The render shows two warriors of these invading peoples.
