I missed quite a few birthdays during my busy time at work. Allow me to please "make right" with this image and dedi. Corey (coreyblack) - Today!!!! Happy birthday Corey. We will have a birthday drink in January when we meet! Have a fantastic day! Sig (junge1) - December 3rd Ray (raydekker) - December 7th Clive (cfulton) - December 13th Leroy (my middle son) - December 15th Today is also the birthday of a very special friend here at home. The image is just a rose from my garden. I have applied the invert black and white filter and then added a magenta filter on CS3. Have you ever noticed that you get the coolest stuff out of your garden? I think you have, which is why you keep going to your garden and getting cool stuff. THIS is super-cool! I love the way you've taken floral photography and turned it into something visually stunning. A rose, by any other name, is really, really interesting with a B-&-W treatment like this. It's so dreamy and a little bit surreal, in all of the best possible ways. It also looks like a charcoal drawing! WOW! This rocks. And yeah, the idea of celebratory drinks when you arrive in Chicago is definitely in order--or gobs and gobs of really good food! This is amazingly good, and it's a perfect dedication, not just to Corey, but to anyone whose ever had a birthday! Yeah, I like this a lot!
