Description


Originally done with a marker on paper, then scanned and "vectorized" in Illustrator.

The picture is my own face, sort of, done in the Blind Contour style.

Basically I set my art pad on the skin of my bathroom, looked in the mirror and drew (without looking at the paper, for those unfamiliar with blind contour).

I was very happy with the results. I've had a lot of people ask if it was a picture of an elephant though. LOL

Its hard to explain without tracing the lines out, but the oval in the middle on top, is the eye. The long flowing line on the left is the jaw line.

oOoO I love this .. I AM NOT AN ANIMAL!!! giggles I can see this in an art deco room huge taking up a full wall... some somewhat uncomfortable viewing chairs with just three legs siting around in black and white. OOOoo and the galley coo's with awe. lol. gotta love this Tn. (holds up my 10 olympic plaque)
