Description

Good morning. Good day. Good evening ;) This time, my private stargate took me to a very warm and sunny planet Quonaraa. Very nice change after a cold Acannayo. I could stay there forever. Very nice place. Unfortunately stargate started to disappear and I had to go back. What a pity. After checking the coordinates I found that this planet is not far from the Earth. Why then the Hubble Space Telescope can not see it? Maybe it needs glasses? ;) ------------------------------- All elements made by me ;) TOOLS: Bryce7Pro (two terrains = mountains and water) Wings3D (my private stargate). Photoshop5 - only to get a deeper colors ;) SKY: DTE + IBL. DEPTH OF FIELD: White haze (settings: 40,40,10) + Sky dome used as backdrop + Sun Intensity set to 250. TEXTURES: Pro materials. RENDER OPTIONS: Regular (Normal AntiAliasing). Sometimes Super or Premium Quality makes textures so "flat" that look very unnaturally, like plastic, photo or something like that. Therefore I use Regular option + one little trick. It makes pixels smooth but not too smoth. RENDER TIME: About 15 minutes... or less? ;) Thank you all for comments. ZOOM RECOMMENDED TO SEE ALL DETAILS AND TEXTURES ;)

Way to make the Bryce's atmospherics give you everything they have. Delicate light, with believable shadows. Plenty of depth to make the hills feel big. I love the angle as well, allowing the hills to rise to that lovely sky from a thin strip of sea. Good work.

Wow...excellent scene my friend...you really set the bar with this one!The terrain texture and overall lighting is very well done, but the sea wave action steals the show...a fave!

I think that you deserve all the very nice compliments that you got here. I especially like your comments on your work process though I,m a bit disappointed that you didn't include your marvelous sky in your comments.
