Description

TG2, second in the Gustav Holst "The Planets" series. Little did our ancestors know Venus is really a violent planet that spins retograde, has a very acidic atmo and has pressures high enough to squash us on its volcanic surface....far from the peaceful evening and morning star we all know. Also Venus was named after the Greek goddess of love. Hmmm....next Mecury, the Winged Messanger. Any suggestions???

Incredible image. Beautiful nightscape. In the southern deserts, is common to see a sky so beautiful and full of esrellas. Excellent.
