Description

MB3D / APO 7X / PSP Thank you for stopping by for a closer look. Any and all comments are always appreciated. This is one more effort in combining both MB3D and APO into 1 image in the hope that they will enhance each other. The basic MB image itself today is a simple bulb landscape, and the APO is a fairly mundane APO flame. But thru the use of combining them the final image is (to me) a much more interesting result than either of the images were on their own. Have a Super Sunday! Jim PS, Yesterday Len quite correctly pointed out that the worm is in Mescal not Tequila. I have to admit I have never drank either of them in my life so don't honestly know the difference. Dark Rum is my choice on times I am going to indulge but that is a throw back to spending 17 years in the navy. Yesterday's Image: thumb_2147421.jpg

very cool combination, well done. So ya got some Captain Morgan in ya huh, LoL Funny how ones particular tastes for liquor stems from Military Service, I never drank much till after VietNam. My remaining time in the Army I was stationed at Ft Bliss Texas (El Paso) right on the Mexico Border, where I became fluent in Spanish....and Tequila, LMAO Peace PS: the difference between good Tequila and Mescal (there is no good Mescal IMHO) is like the difference between 12 year old Single Malt Scotch and Old Crow or something, they'll both get you there but journey and aftermath is better with the good stuff.

Flying fire flames are an awesome sight. I have experienced such a scene up close and personel. Your fractal is so life like. Super job. p.s. No-one was hurt in the fire that I witnessed.

The merger certainly works for me, Jim. Your image very effectively portrays a cataclysmic event in progress. Your rendering reminds me strongly of what it would be like to have an outpost on the planet Mercury. The planet rotates very slowly on its axis so as sunrise approached the outpost, it would be an inferno of major proportions. Fortunately, I am told Mandelbulbs make excellent heat shields. This is a very creative use of mixed media, Jim. Well done!
