YAY!!!! I'm so glad I got it right as this is one very handsome fellow. Your image is perfect - showing off his colors... The clarity (focus) is also spot on. Thank you so much Lynell! :):) I have to tell you - the other day I was putting gas in my car and the next moment I heard the very distinctive scream of a peacock. The attendant was right by my window and I said: "Peacock".. and as he said "Yes" this random peacock was just casually walking past me in the middle of the gas station. It was so bizarre but really funny! Q - Hmmmm - Queen, Quack-Quack, Quince ???

Wow! What a gorgeous capture!!! That color is just stunning!!! And who knew there were so many words that started with P???? And now you're onto Q...hmmm...well, I'm sure others will come up with much better ones and more, but here goes.... quaker (parrot), quack, quirt, quiet, quite, que,(English word for line, but don't know if spelled right, LOL) quiz, quota, quiche, quake, queer (as in strange!)quest, quick, quintessential, quirk... Magnificent capture Lynell. This peacock is gorgeous. You certainly have generated lots of interest in this rather unique contest. My guess for Q is quiche, (of course real men don't eat quiche), at least it would be easier to take a picture of than quiet. I think a serious Q picture could be taken of the Queen Quietly eating quiche as she quivers on a quilt in Quebec during a quake.
