Description

Thanks for stopping by once again my friends. I thought that I would post the long view of my previous Poser rendering 'Rose Line'. Thanks for all the wonderful comments by the way, I'm very glad you all enjoyed it. This was the original concept before I became enamoured with Valenzia's close up. Which I still really like. It's been three years since 'Just Say No To Mistletoe' and a somewhat more mature Valenzia is now of a different view when it comes to that particular holiday gift. At least for one person she is pleased to call a friend. Christmas shopping is nearly done - just have to pick up booze for those who I am bereft of ideas. Hope everyone has had a great weekend - not stressed in malls like myself. And keep watching this space, there's a chess match at hand.
Freebies
My thanks again for freebies goes to the following good people: Bice for the Valenzia character. Adorana for the Leonlin Hair for Victoria 3. smallspace for the Noble Fir Christmas Tree. pangor for the Christmas Wreath. Mechanismo for the Rose. mlevans for the V3 Crown Jewels Bracelet. ISOP for the gloves from the Maid Dress for V3. ape50 for the Church Bohemia 18 - 19 Century DAZ for Victoria 3
Production Credits
Lovely Lady - Jatex Style Pantsuit 2 for V3 (Shirt) Other Credits: Valenzia's eyes are from Sunsirae for V3 by Giana. Valenzia's nose ring and ear studs come from DAZ3D's Victoria 3.0 Piercing Pack Sheer and Sexy Bundle for V3 by Moyra & Lourdes Mercado (DAZ) Millenium Cat from DAZ.
Some Technical Details
These are the same as before... Render Settings: Raytrace bounce: 4 Irradiance caching: 90 Pixel samples: 4 Min. shading rate: 0.30 Post filter size: 2 Post filter type: sinc HDRI optimized output is set. No gamma correction Lights: 1 Spot Light using ray traced shadows (2.0, 1.2). The light is pointed at (see Object menu) Valenzia's head. Colour is a soft yellow at 77% intensity. Map size 1024 1 Diffuse Light (no shadows) set to white at 44% intensity, with the OfficeDesk.jpg IBL probe filter that comes with Poser 6 in the textures runtime. I do not activate environmental ambient occlusion when setting up the IBL feature of the diffuse light. Map size 1024. As before, I utilize the ambient occlusion nodes for materials. In addition, there are about twenty other coloured point lights in the tree and wreath. Their end distances are about 30 inches and an intensity of 40%. Shadows are turned off for all of these accent lights - rendering would take weeks otherwise. Magnets: I also parented a small magnet onto Valenzia's nose ring. With a magnet zone made small, I used the force field to distort the skin around the nose where the ring makes its piercing.
