This is suppose to be a time of cheer and goodwill,
This is suppose to be a time to give,
This is suppose to be a time of joy,
It was your favorite time of year,
All through your life you gave 100% without fear,
You always gave no matter if they were rich or poor,
You stood by those you loved through thick and thin,
You always made sure your family had.
Now rings Christmas this year,
And through a many tear,
I wish for you my dad,
That where ever you are after this life,
You catch the biggest fish you ever had.
This year Christmas is just a word and day,
But if I had one wish I could say,
The best Christmas gifts were always you,
And all the time you pulled me through.
I would wish with all my heart,
That I could have one more day,
With you and I not apart.
