Description

Hi here's two female heads i made, the second one is based on the first head. I should of made some eye lashes, but makeing attractive female models is not really my thing ;-) the bottom picture of the eyes is a scene i have just uploaded to my free stuff page, you can download it following this link ;-) http://www.julian-j.i12.com/downloads.html

Gosh, they look so real! One of the best skin textures I've seen.

Holy @%#&! What the...how the...?!?! Your work makes the Final Fantasy movie seem like a cartoon. I don't normally give ratings, but this undoubtedly deserves one.

I didn't know that you can also make beauties. But now you have prove (?) it! Amazing! And yes, the Final Fantasy movie-characters ARE like some sweet little cartoon faces. I was disappoint from this movie... Only this old man was really good.

The skins are very good but the eyes of the characters seem so "dumb".

I just deployed Maya PLE to look into elecronic blocks to complete success. I am not looking at algebraic blocks like not having enough memory to do all the hair follicles or an exact gravity map for the skin folds and sag in the skin but seeing your progress on translucency may change my mind.

hi thankyou very much everyone for your comments ;-) Yes your right thirdeye, the eyes should be a lot better, I should of spent some more time on them. I have spent quite a bit of time making different eyes trying to come up with a really real looking one, i have not had to much success so far. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Also its a lot to do with the shadowing around the eyes, their is none on those models, because i never got round to making eyelashes i never really worked on the shadows and lighting to make the eyes look more lifelike, i shall try better next time ;-)

isnt the bump map set too high for both of them. im having a hard time not shouting crater face at them. I can't complain too much any way because i couldan't do a face let alone make it real.

Amazingly real. The DOF and the skin imperfections aids a lot for the realism. As real as it get (so far =). Eye lashes can help of course but let's look at the big picture. Excellent modeling and maping.

Fabulous....I love them. The first one is perfect. I like the second one a lot but I think if you made the skin a tad bit smoother it would be perfect, like the first one. Both are excellent characters and interesting to look at for a long time!
