Description

The blue heron staring into the water waiting all day for a little bit of food preserving as much body warmth as possible. It won't leave the hole in the ice...

Fascinating birds, the herons, and the egrets. They sit so still as a statue, and they do come and visit my fish pond occasionally. They have been unsuccessful so far. It seems my fish are very wary of them being there.

An absolutely stunning image that speaks volumes to me! The Blue Heron is my most favourite, loved species of all times! Incredible reflections and the little guy's pose is most sweet! I really hope this little one makes it through the long winter that still awaits. Hopefully you, yourself didn't stay out there too long in the cold either :) A marvellous and sensational capture! Excellent artwork!
