Description
The Cologne Cathedral (Der K�¶lner Dom) being photographed as it gets dark. It was freezing cold at that time..The blue sky and the snow everywhere is proof of that.
This picture is without any doubt best viewed full size.

The usual view is from the front. This gives a very good idea of the rest of the architecture with its spired intricate flying buttresses and ornate windows. One of the most fantastic pieces of Gothic architecture in the world. You've done a great job in catching the lighting on the roof and the steeples while having a nice sky. Cold - I sure bet it was! The clear atmosphere sure suggests it! Keep up the good work! :-)
