Description

Hopefully there will eventually be regeneration, though humankind hasn't learnt the lesson of Peace on Earth, and Goodwill is an ephemera that just about everybody agrees with, but few practise. Thankyou for visiting. It's still raining, so it's unlikely we will see much of the eclipse tonight. It will be daylight as well as cloudy, so for us I think it'll be a no goer. Summer solstice for us. Did I mention the heat and humidity? My tomato plants have turned into triffids, laden with fruit The beans and potatoes aren't far behind. Nobody will go hungry here for a while! Plenty of gherkins and peas and eggplant, and other stuff too. It's very unusual to see such growth at this time of year. Once the drought broke, everything went wild. I'm not going to talk about that pain in the arm: lawns. Grrr. The next generation might just learn to put down green concrete instead.

at least you didn't plant zucchinni. you could try to grow moss instead of grass. it is springy and it stays relatively green We've got a lot of rain and it is near freezing - as much as I like the stars and other stellar stuff - nope! BTW - Excellent image

Splendid Fractal, excellent. War began with the appearence of Mankind, so unfortunately it will probably only end with the dissapearence of Mankind also. Peace

Spears in the snow. War is affected by weather, but weather is not a barrier of war. Mankind has to learn to agree to disagree. Happy to hear your summer is in full bloom. We are knee deep in the white stuff. Peace to all of us.

A great title for this lovely fractal. We were lucky and saw the eclipse but unlucky that it was only a partial one down here. The moon was the brightest I think I have ever seen it. Your veges sound to be really getting into the season of goodwill.
