Description

I have been outside waiting for the start of the full lunar eclipse.I missed the last one (372 years ago) I had to quit because my neck was bothering me from looking upside down at the viewer.it was directly overhead and some clouds was interfering also.got some good shots of the moon however this is a continued parameter from yesterday with some tweaks thanks for looking and any comments

Splendid surface closeup, super work. I set my alarm to go get a peek at it, it was an Eclipse alright and a nice coincidence of the Winter Solstice. The best one I ever saw though was while working in Nepal in 88 I think it was, we had been in a Line Camp for 4-5 days and didn't know it was coming, the Moon was Huge, it was amazing and a bit eerie being so remote from Base Camp. Peace
