Description
I was surprised that there was only one posted photo of last night's Lunar Eclipse event. The weather was perfect at my house for viewing. I took these hand-held with my Nikon D40x.
These images are not very good and unfortunately, at full eclipse, I did not manage to get a usable image at all, but here they are anyway, lol.
It has been a long frustrating year for me and I am glad to see it end. With a little luck, maybe the coming year holds more promise.

Your pics are better than any I have managed, It was cloudy in my area so it was a no go for the eclipse. Have a great Christmas.

I think they're pretty good, especially if you did them hand-held. I missed it last night because it was cloudy, so I'm glad to see these :)

GREAT captures!!! So clear and interesting!! I WANTED to see it, but if they can't schedule these things at a more reasonable hour for us here on the east coast of the US....LOL...I was hoping to wake up and catch a glimpse...but slept right through it.

Awesome shots! I periodically looked as it was happening, my camera battery was on charge, so I only got an early evening shot of the moon, which I posted already. Great shot!

Great series of shots I ended up taking 4 sec exposures and even then it got so dark I couldn't see it in my viewfinder.
