I've seen your work many times now, but as with some other artists whose work I love, I've just not gotten around to commenting. (Or if I have, it's been rare.) I just haven't kept up with everyone, even those I'm close to. But after your wonderful comments on some of my pieces, I wanted to come here & tell you I've been here more times than you know, and I've considered your work to be some of the most intimate, special and beautiful on the site. You have a way of capturing the simplest things of our lives in an unspoken embrace, and making them very intimate, even if they're strange to some of us, even if they don't all have personal meaning. They acquire personal meaning from you. And your landscapes and other larger shots all pulse with light & mystery & beauty. This is an image of beautiful small objects, many of them feeling like they're of our childhood, gathered in an intimate place & lit as if they're presenting themselves to us for a moment, where we can look-in and see the warmth they've been sharing between themselves for a long time. The hue is inward, and it's a beautiful image for the 'season of lights', for what it means to all and anyone. I wish you a wonderful holiday, and thank you for this gallery & for your comments---which were famous even with some of my first friends here (gun/gunsan always use to say, "if you want to see great comments, read tofi's).
