Description

Location: Berlin - Mitte, The Berlin Cathedral Good evening, Renderosians, this series nearly ends with the Berlin Dome, our main cathedral. Over the years the dome became together with the Brandenburg gate the main attraction of the "Berlin Festival of Lights". The projections changed from year to year - and they became better and better. This year the Berlin Dome was a vehicle for WOLFGANG JOOP, Berlin`s famous fashion designer, the only Berlinian who works worldwide. All projections here in this year were parts of Joops last fashion collection, so this here. The dome is photographed by thousands of photographers in these 10 nights, and you need strong nerves to get the right POV without some others. This point here is the finest I could find, and I look forward to 2011...... Dear friends, the series ends tomorrow with a collage of the Brandenburg Gate, but this here is my personal best of all. Very nice night shot of this impressive building. Perhaps I would have chosen to put the statue not in front of the cathedral to get a more complete view on the main subject.

WOW! This is spectacular! I love the intensity of this image, the colors, the beauty, the whole sense that it's Berlin--and yet somehow...something different: like a dream of Berlin. This is incredible, gorgeous photography and I love the festive mood of it. This is most definitely making a trip into my favorites.
