Description

I'm in australia, christmas here is HOT. The scripted plugin for max is going well, at least the studio part. Still have to tackle recursion in 3ds maxscript (struggling. but will manage I'm sure for the material section. I thought of a name for my product but its still in alpha. Beta testing begins in january. This image is rendered with the studio alpha. I think the lighting came out pretty well, fixed the contrast and painted the hair in post. As you can see the corset really suffered badly with being skinned to v4, but what the hey. Hope I haven't overdone the SSS.

your lighting looks great, and the skin looks realistic. i think the SSS is a bit strong now, but you may just need an SSS map, which is more up to the texture maker than you. there's also the issue of makeup, which is again a texture creator thing. where the makeup is, the SSS needs to be toned down. which is only possible if there are makeup masks. the lips work well, though. the scene is kind of interesting. why is she in a hospital?
