Description
There is but one ultimate character for me when I game. When I find her, no matter what game it is, her name is Obsidia. This picture came about from me playing WOW again. Usually I roll a necromancer type of character. Currently I am playing a Death Knight. I have undead minions...yay! I really enjoy the character. Previously I played a necromancer in Guild Wars. I loved her too. So, I got a vision in my head of how to embody her in some of my work. Well here she is. She isn't perfect. I did 6 trials of the render before getting this and then 5 trials of post work before getting to this. This was the first one I made and I made another one but I think I like this one better right now so up it goes. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to post the other one I made.
I used a lot of different things. You see I'm out of money so I can't buy any more things but I have a closet full of stuff for V4 and of course lots of wonderful free things here! So, I ventured out on a limb tonight. I made my own pose out of some other poses I had and then tweaked them to my design. I used lights from Poser in Studio that aren't supposed to be compatible. I mixed clothing from about 4 different outfits to the point where I don't know what is what. I do know this character face and skin set is Noir!
I hope each of you have a happy holiday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year. Consider this my one render in between everything else and my not so Christmas-y Christmas render for you :)
Thank you all for your support and tips this year. I have truly appreciated your friendships and comments. In fact it actually has helped me to think of all the wonderful comments and feedback. You see I've been rather depressed over my art work lately. I get like this. Always have. Always will. Maybe it's just from being tired. Maybe it's from cranking out too many good things. I got really depressed when my last picture didn't come out how I wanted it. It wasn't a rush job, but I just had this vision and it didn't happen. I hate it when that happens and it makes me not feel so good.
However, this attempt is much better. It's not perfect, but it's close to what I had wanted and it was something new that I tried. I will say though that posing fingers is NOT my favorite thing. Thank goodness for all the poses I own that I normally don't have to worry about that!
Anyway, enjoy. I'm off to play World of Warcraft. Maybe I'll sleep sometime this weekend too!
PS. I want to know and you can e-mail me this should I buy the "Alice" figure from Aery-Soul? Does everyone like her? I have been looking at her and she goes off sale soon, but there weren't a lot of pics up in the gallery when I looked. I have so many textures/characters that I wasn't sure but I didn't want to pass her up if she was something great. As stated before I don't really have the money BUT a parental unit could be coerced into giving me the 20 bucks LOL!
Once again Happy Holidays!
